summer survival

Winter is by far my favorite season, so you can imagine how badly I dealt with the sudden onset of heat after months of rain. If only reverse hibernation were a viable option - I could stay indoors with air conditioning and a fridge full of ice cream and never see the light of day until the heat breaks and cold weather sets in.

One thing that makes the heat a little more tolerable is this (half)skirt, which is fast becoming a summer staple. I almost look forward to hot and humid days so that I have an excuse to wear it. Almost.

Re: the AC and ice cream, you're a woman after my own heart.
The summer hurts. It's hot and sticky out and every indoor space is air conditioned to north pole standards. How is a girl to get dressed?!
Love the tank and skirt...such an awesome cut...

I'm the total opposite of you - I love summer and would rather go into hibernation all those dreary winter months. Love your outfit, that skirt is awesome!

Really loving the back of the Rick Owens tank, especially layered. The center seam creates a lovely line down your back. :)

On another note, I'll definitely trade you weather! You can have my winters and I'll take your summers. I never want this weather to go away!

omg i do not understand how anyone can love winter on the east coast! i love the high-split skirt for summer. though actually it would look great in the winter with some really tall boots..

must say, i prefer winter too;
but the perfect temperature for me could be 16-18C - still allows some fancy layering ;)
