summer white

when it comes to "things i do not look forward to every season," donning tight white jeans is right up there with putting on a bikini for the first time after a long winter. for some reason light-colored denim is not as forgiving as black or darker-wash denim.

but i happen to love the look of crisp white jeans so every spring i take a deep breath and pray that i still fit into them. i usually wear a loose-fitting top and heels to make me feel less squat.

i get less self-conscious and less traumatized after the first couple of wears and as the season progresses white jeans become a wardrobe staple for me.

Love this! The D&G top is so delightfully bizarre. It really stands out. And I adore white jeans, too, although I agree that there's always a degree of self-consciousness about wearing them. I need a new pair.

One day I hope to find a flattering slim white jean. Beautiful dolce sweater, I like the color and the unique silhouette of it too.

I wish I could find a pair of white jeans that won't make my short legs look even stumpier! But you pull it off great especially with the Mulberry bag for a laid back look. I love it! The whole thing just looks so pulled together.

I also have that love-hate relationship with white jeans! I love them on others but hate them on me! :) But I've made a decision to face my fear :) and now I'm searching for the perfect pair, let's see how it goes :)

I love the pockets on these jeans. And I've always loved that sweater.

Lovely sweater - looks perfect paired with the white jeans. And you look great, don't worry!

Not to mention the fear of unknowingly sitting on someone's chocolate crumbs or something equally mortifying :)

I know exactly how you feel - SO classicly chic and SO hard to brave! You look absolutely fab in them though so you have nothing to fret! Beautiful!

i love the jeans and the drapey top. i tend to follow the same pattern, but i'm still hunting for a perfect fitting pair. the earnest sewns i have seem to come across my path in all the wrong sizes. remedying that situation this summer since i too think white jeans are such an easy staple.

Well I think you look great. I dislike donning them for another reason; that is, I get them dirty approximately eight minutes after putting them on.

So simple and chic! I wish I could pull off white jeans. They just end up disgusting and dirty :( I'm a hot mess lol.
